Russians for Ukraine Project

My name is Natalia Smirnova, I am a Russian photographer living in Berlin. Shortly after the beginning of Russian invasion in Ukraine I started taking portraits of Russian people who live outside Russia and talking to them about this war, which turned out to be the most profound conversations I have ever had. We have been desperately trying to understand what we have done wrong, what we could have done to prevent it, and what we can do to stop it.

I want to help

As most of the people who took part  in this project are dedicated volunteers helping Ukraine and its people in every possible way, they know how important it is to keep the funds coming. Please consider to donate to small initiatives that make a great difference.
